About NorthWoods Strike
There's a moment just before a northern pike hits — when the water flattens for half a second and everything goes quiet. If you've felt it, you know why I can't stop going back.
My name is Nathan, and I've been fishing the lakes and rivers of North Idaho, Montana, and Washington for most of my life. I've chased pike through the lily pads on Coeur d'Alene, watched a muskie the size of a fence post follow my lure for thirty feet and then vanish. I've pulled walleye out of mountain-cold rivers at dusk while the ridgelines turned pink, and caught smallmouth bass so stubborn it took everything I had to bring them to the boat. I've stood in rivers so clear and cold in the Montana Rockies that rainbow trout darted between my boots like they owned the place.
These waters — the cold, clear, wild waters of the inland Northwest — are in my blood. They always have been.
A few years back, I started wondering how to bring that feeling indoors. Not just a photo or a stock print, but something that actually looked like the fish I know. The way a northern pike catches the light underwater. The way a rainbow trout's side shimmers when it jumps. The muscle and the silence of a big muskie holding still in the weeds.
That's what NorthWoods Strike is. Every print in this store was created from my own experience on the water, built into high-resolution art designed to look incredible on your wall. These aren't clipart fish. They're the fish I fish for — painted with the detail and drama that real anglers recognize.
Whether you're decorating a cabin, a man cave, a fishing lodge, or a living room that needs something with a little more wild in it — these prints were made for you. For the people who get up before sunrise and stay out past dark. For the ones who can't drive past a river without slowing down.
The fish are waiting. Come find them.
